If you need more confidence to cook something using a camp oven over hot coals, this weekend we will cover how to cook delicious food using a camp oven.

Its also a great opportunity for a trial run and perfect your bush culinary skills in preparation for the Cookout Weekend in July, being hosted by Hari Maragos.

Topics will include:

• How to season a new camp oven – a video will be sent to you before the weekend to do at home or when you arrive at Yarck
• Camp oven cleaning and care
• How to cook something you want to try, or we can help you find something that takes your fancy

What to Bring:

• A camp oven made of cast iron or spun steel
• Your recipe and the ingredients (if you need inspiration let us know!)
• Cooking utensils and leather gloves
• Closed shoes or boots
