Fully Serviced and maintained vehicles with UHF wired direct to battery. A hand held UHF is also recommended for walking or recovery purposes.

Basic recovery gear

• snatch strap
• recovery points front & rear
• shovel
• tyre deflator
• air compressor
• light truck AT or MT tyres with at least 50% tread (including spare)

Weather depending, winches may be required

Overnight:

Bush camping Friday night at Deptford Camping Area.  Saturday night Bush camp around the Dargo area

Details:

Our trip officially will start at Friday Night at Deptford campground (there are some walks in the area for those who wish to arrive a bit early).

I'm expecting to be at the campsite by 5pm.
Must be ready for an 8am start (at the Deptford campground) on Saturday 15th March.  We will be exploring the Nicholson River (which can get quite overgrown - expect some pin striping) & eventually arriving at Dargo.  We plan to stop at the iconic Dargo pub before bush camping alongside the Dargo River.

Sunday we will head across to Seldom Seen, and down the haunted stream track through Dawson City & Dogtown.  The Haunted Stream Track has 54 river crossings through picturesque country, finishing up at Tambo Crossing.

We will arrive at Bruthen (possibly late) Sunday afternoon where the trip will officially end. It's a four hour drive back to Melbourne for the unlucky of us that have to work on Monday!
