Equipment:

• All standard recovery equipment
• All Terrain tyres with off-road tread design are a minimum requirement
• A winch is highly recommended but not essential
• A 2-inch is recommended. If you do not have a lift you may not clear some of the tracks and damage your vehicle
• Radiator blind
• You will need a tent - camper or caravan and food for the weekend
  
  

Overnight:

We will be base camping at Granny's Flat Camping Ground in Jamieson on Friday and Saturday nights. The trip will end Sunday at about lunch time after the morning drive.

Details:

Forget about a 'Weekend at Burnies' Come and join us for a 'Weekend at Granny"s'.  This is an overnight base camp at Granny's Flat in Jamieson. This campsite is next to a river and has a drop toilet.

We will get there early Friday to secure a spot for the group. Saturday we will be exploring tracks and heading towards Kevington where will cross the Goulburn River. We will explore at least one mine.

Saturday night we will book a table at the Jamieson Brewery then go back to camp for a fire and good night.

Sunday, the plan is to cross the Jamison River and make our way to Mitchells Track where you will see some awesome views of Lake Eildon. This journey will have some steep sections
The trip will end at lunchtime.

Come along to have fun, explore and be challenged. Don't forget to bring a big smile and a sense of humour.
