Trip update , due to the popularity of the Lerderderg Campground we have decided to base camp Friday and Saturday nights at Lerderderg Campground as it fills very fast. This area is suitable for semi off road vans / trailers with access via Upper Chadwick Track. There is a toilet at the campground.
For those joining us Saturday we are leaving camp at 8am for Trentham, you can meet us at Lerderderg Campground by 8am or at Trentham sports ground by 9 am. No vans or trailers if meeting at Trentham please as we will be heading off road from there. Aim departing Trentham after the market and bakery at 10 am.

Standard recovery equipment as per DA training. heavy duty all terrain or mud Tyres as some of the climbs are steep (NO factory AT Tyres)

Friday and Saturday nights at Lerderderg campground, where we will enjoy an evening around the camp fire.
Details:
We will visit Trentham and following a quick look around the town, visiting the famous bakery and the Saturday market then off to the explore the Wombat forest tracks, and some of the old mining and logging relics.
This is a dog friendly trip, so bring your pooch. Must stay on their leads and be sociable.
