Details:
We will meet at 9.30 for a 10.00am departure @ Ampol Foodary Longwarry (Eastbound) 290 Sand Road, Cnr Princes Highway, Longwarry. From there we’ll head up through some of the tracks in Bunyip State Park working our way across towards Gembrook then up to Kurth Kiln. These tracks are fairly easy but after rain can be a bit more fun! Kurth Kiln campground is a big area with lots to see in the area. It has good fireplaces so we'll aim to get in mid afternoon and be sure and pack some firewood as local pickings can be scarce! There’s also a great 4km walk for anyone that’s interested - https://walkingmaps.com.au/walk/417 Sunday morning we’ll depart late heading across to Noojee via Powelltown where the trip will conclude before we head into the Noojee pub for lunch….. If you can’t make the trip but wish to meet us for lunch let us know and we’ll make a larger booking! 50% of places on this trip will be reserved for new members. This will be an easy slow paced trip to enjoy and get you into club trip mode.
