Join John Barkla and Alison Street for a fireside chat about their adventures and travels around Australia. John has been a club member for 32 years and is a past President of Birdlife Australia.
Over the years, the Yarck Evergreen Group has increased flowering native plants around the Yarck Hilton, this is to encourage lots of bugs and lizards and skinks to feed the native birds.
The Yarck Maintenance team has organised a system to ensure the bird bath is always full. Yarck has an amazing number of native birds, if you know when and where to look.
For the enthusiastic, John & Alison will lead an early morning birdwatching tour around Yarck.
