2 nights - Friday & Saturday Camping at Gentle Anies Caravan Park
Details:
Time to take of the chains from a busy week. On this trip we will be base camping at Gentle Annies Caravan Park in Whitfield. Friday night we will be having dinner at the Mountain View Hotel. On Saturday we will be taking on the tracks around Lake William Hovel. Sunday morning we will explore nearby tracks.
Some tracks vary from easy to difficult depending on conditions. Places we will visit over the weekend include Paradise Falls, Lake Cobbler, King Hut and Powers Lookout. After the morning drive on Sunday we will head off to a local winery for a feed.
The trip will conclude after the winery. It is hoped that all participants will take part in the Friday night meal and Sunday lunch.
Rieta and I will leave Monday and is optional, but preference will be given to those who can stay the whole weekend. To secure our booking for dinner and lunch we will be asking for a deposit.
We will be reserving six unpowered sites at the caravan park so we can be together, but you will be required to make your own booking. If you can only make the Saturday, your appliacation will be considered. Apply then email me and let me know you can only participate on Saturday.
Note: Pets allowed in the Caravan Park, but not on the drive.
