Overnight:

There will be 12 nights at 3 different stations in the Flinders with a couple of nights at showgrounds too  Allow an average of $40 per night.

Details:

We will meet up at Mundulla in South Australia near the border (just off the Western Hwy) and spend the night at the showgrounds.  The pub does a great meal too.

Next morning, we will make our way into the southern Flinders Ranges for a 3 night stay at a station near Peterborough.  There will be a couple of days exploring 4WD tracks around the area, campfires and happy hours.

From there we will make our way into the central section for 4 nights at a 2nd station.  We will have 1 full day on Sky Trek, plus sightseeing tours of Blinman, various gorges, optional bush hikes etc.

From there we head north to our 3rd station for a further 3 nights.  More 4WD tracks, ruins to explore and touring, plus campfires and did I mention happy hours?
The final night of the trip will be at Melrose Showgrounds.

Allow $500 for accommodation, $1500 for fuel, $500 for 4wd tracks and other entry fees etc.  Your food and drinks on top of this of course.

Ideally you can carry food etc for most of the trip because once we leave Peterborough there's no shops.

We are taking an off road hybrid van that runs off solar and batteries.  Anything along those lines will be suitable.

Applications will be open until  the end of January 2024 to allow people to organise leave etc.

More details provided as we get closer. Please contact the trip Leaders if you have questions.
