Equipment:

Fully Serviced and maintained vehicles, 6 dB vehicle mounted radio , 5w uhf Hand held radio  for walking or recovery  
Basic recovery gear including snatch strap, closed recovery points on front & back, shovel, air compressor for tyre inflation, genuine off-road tyres with at least 50% tread including spare tyre. Preference will be given for vehicles with Lockers Mud tyres & winches as a bit of exploring will be done on the 1st part of our journey as we head up the Nicholson river

Overnight:

Over night Bush camping Friday night at Deptford &  Saturday night around the Dargo  area 

Details:

Our trip officially will start at Friday Night at Deptford campground (there are some walks in the area for those who wish to arrive a bit early) Ready for an early Start on Saturday morning the 16th of March at 8.00 am where we will explore alongside the Nicholson River  & into the Bullung-Warl State Forest before heading towards Dargo if time permits a quick refreshment at the iconic Dargo pub before  Bush Camping alongside the Dargo River.
Sunday we will head across to Seldom Seen,Dawson city, Dogtown and down the haunted stream which has multiple river crossing finishing up Tambo Crossing.
(This Trip is subject to weather , flooding, track closures and may be altered to suit conditions)

For those who don’t have to work we will Camping  back towards at Bruthen Sunday night before heading home. For the unlucky members that have to work on monday it’s a 4 hr drive home to Melbourne.
