Equipment:
All standard recovery gear, including max tracks (if you have them) in addition to a long-handled shovel. A SAND FLAG IS MANDATORY. Tyre gauge and air compressor. Please ensure you have a good quality spare Tyre, and your vehicle is fit for purpose. Bring your Caravan, camper trailer or tent. A very limited number of Cabins are also still available at the Park if required but they are filling up fast. There are however, plenty of Powered and Un-powered sites. BYO everything, including a chair. Robe is cool at night, so also make sure you bring some warm clothing.

Staying at the Lakeside Tourist Park, 24 Main Road, ROBE SA
Details:
Home base will be the Lakeside Tourist Park. Please make your own booking arrangements once you have been confirmed/accepted onto the trip. Accommodation needs to be finalized with the Park by the end of the first week in September 2023. The normal Caravan Park amenities are all available. Arriving on the Friday in preparation for 2 days 4WDing along the beach, including Sand Dune driving at the Buggy Club on the 2 days of the Trip (Saturday & Sunday). Saturday night we plan to go out for dinner to either the local Chinese Restaurant or the Pub (to be worked out, once the participants are accepted and numbers confirmed). Sunday night, a simple BBQ dinner and catchup at the Camp Kitchen in the caravan park. Monday is a free day to explore around the beautiful sights of Robe. Alternatively, you may wish to drive to an adjoining seaside town like Beachport or Kingston, visit a nearby winery or simply relax all day around the park before getting ready to head home on the Monday or Tuesday.
