Equipment: Warm clothing, bring gloves & masks please as you may be asked to wear them when handling/feeding baby wombats.
Please bring a shovel also as we will be asked to do a little bit of manual labour like helping to clean out wombat enclosures ect.
Please bring any donation of old towels and or linen that you can as this helps for bedding for baby wombats.
Overnight: This is on a Yarck Maintenance weekend, so if you wish to stay and help out at the club property for the remainder of the weekend, you are more than welcome. Remember to bring your camping gear if you decide to stay and camp.
Details: Saturday morning trip leaving the TLCCV club property for a nice easy trip to a local towns animal wildlife refuge where we can spend a few hours volunteering to help out with a variety of odd jobs including feeding and cuddling baby wombats.
And thankyou to anyone who can donate any second hand towels or linen to the shelter. The linen will be used for the wildlife enclosures, rescues, pouches and bedding.
