Equipment:
Standard recovery equipment that includes closed front and rear recovery points, snatch strap with rated shackles, shovel, air compressor, genuine off road biased AT or better tyres with at least 50% tread - including the spare. Maxx Trax or equivalent may be handy
Overnight:
Base Camp will be at Dimboola Riverside Caravan Park. Unpowered $20 per night, Powered $36 per night. Note that the park requires a 3 night minimum (Fri, Sat, Sun) for the long weekend.
Details:
Enjoy a relaxing weekend in Western Victoria. Saturday morning is free time, the trip will officially start at 1pm on June 10. We'll explore the Eastern section of the Little Desert NP and return to camp just after dark. On Sunday we'll travel the McDonald Hwy to the Western Section. The tracks are a mix of sand and mud, most bog holes have alternate tracks. We'll be back in time for happy hour on Sunday.
