Equipment:

Camping equipment. Full working recovery gear. A/T tyres minimum, shovel, chainsaw if you have one, car bra or equivalent. A winch is recommended but not required. Firewood.

Overnight:

Free camp at Granny's Flat in Jamieson on Friday and Saturday nights.

Details:

We will be base camping at Granny's Flat Campground. Facilities at the campsite include a drop toilet and a river. You will need to bring enough food and water supplies for the weekend. and a sense of humour. The trip will start Friday as a chance for everyone to socialise and get to know each other. We will be there early Friday to secure a spot.

We will be exploring some of the local tracks and visiting the Champion mine site and time permitting making our way to Mt Terrible. There will be at least one river crossing.
Sunday's plan is to relax and maybe explore another track depending on consensus and then visit the Jamieson brewery for lunch. Rieta & I may stay an extra night.
